Preparations

The day spent shopping, cooking and talking to the press, collecting various pieces of kit. We're vacumn packing meals to save fresh food, 21 days of rations with an extra 4 days in tins. Weather looking favourable - lets hope it stays that way. Still waiting for the Omnia oven so we can bake fresh bread - promised delivery now for tomorrow. After reviewing the passage plan, it looks like we may be out of mobile range for most of the North Sea from Norfolk to Shetland and again from Shetland to Islay (outside of St.Kilda). We hope to transmit tracking data (and blogs) at all other times.
